Welcome! I’m Sabine Bou Malhab, an early childhood education consultant committed to reimagining how we nurture young minds through innovative pedagogies. With a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and years of experience working with children in both educational and creative environments, my journey is shaped by a belief in the power of play, creativity, and connection in learning.

My Journey

When I first began teaching, I was captivated by the wealth of research and theories on child development. Yet, like many educators, I struggled to translate inspiring concepts—such as play-based learning, differentiation, autonomy, and others—into the traditional classroom. Determined to bridge the gap between theory and practice, I pursued continuous learning and experimented with innovative approaches.

My path led me to become a certified Positive Discipline parent coach and pursue training in play-based learning, Montessori, and the Reggio Emilia approach. I fell in love with the intentionality, the deep respect for both children and teachers, and the joy that these educational philosophies bring to learning. Founding my own art and play studio allowed me to witness firsthand the magic of play, the profound impact of a thoughtfully designed space, and the importance of trusting the children.

I realized that truly transformative education goes beyond just the methods used or the role of the adult, whether a teacher or a parent. It depends on the entire ecosystem, which includes the physical environment, the culture of the school or home, and the broader community—all play a vital role.
